About Lydden Hill Race Circuit

For those who haven't visited the Lydden Hill Race Circuit before, its a firm favourite with spectators, Club MotorSports, and famously hosts the new exciting World RallyCross Races. The short circuit itself is set in a natural valley which makes for awesome spectator viewing.

The Main Arena, host to the Show & Shine Displays and the Open Air Party, has been strategically placed so that showgoers can enjoy exploring the Trader exhibits and show cars on display, whilst still being able to see much of the on track antics at the same time!

Lydden Hill has always been a family friendly venue, and we will continue this with a dedicated family area offering outdoor play, entertainment, activities, a Junior Disco, family only spectator points and camping field, which is well away from the general camping areas – but don't expect a lie-in or you’ll miss some of the events!

CAMPING RELATED FAQ’s

Saturday 8am until 11pm (Racers and Trackday entrants can have access from 6am), Sunday 8.00am until 6.30pm.

Is there first aid and security on site?
Yes we have 24hr Paramedic cover and a full team of professional security, check your event programme for emergency phone numbers or visit the race control building which will be the security base throughout the weekend.

Do you allow Glass Bottles?
ABSOLUTELY NOT they are a danger to adults and children alike, no one likes to see someone hurt on broken glass, please decanter wine or spirits into plastic and if you're drinking lager bring cans.

Can we bring our dog?
Of course you can, so long as its kept on a lead and controlled at all times and you clean up after it.

Can we reserve a club camping plot?
There are limited club camping spaces in the main camping field. These are strictly advance book only and will be on a first come first serve basis.. we recommend that if you want to camp together you arrive together.

Can we bring a caravan?
Not without prior arrangement, the general and family camping areas are strictly for Campervans and Canvas Tents (There is limited space for larger Motorhomes as this is predominantly reserved for the Circuit Race Teams)

Can we play music in camping?
All we ask is for people not to take the mickey, music during daylight hours is fine in general camping, we do have a music and noise curfew of 11pm (imposed by the local council laws) at which time we ask for quiet camp, people need their sleep! Please be respectful of your neighbours right to sleep. There is also a dedicated family camping area (well away from the general camping)
On-site camping is limited so pre-booking is strongly advised to avoid disappointment.

Are there showers on site?
Yes, we have a small block of showers.

Do you have toilets and chemical waste disposal?
There are toilets located in various placed around the site. Please do not empty chemical waste toilets on site.
